We were very lucky; some how we manage to catch glimpse and snaps of Shekru, A rare species declare by Indian govt. Shekru is only fond in Bhimashakar mountain ranges.
Tall tree canopy is Shekru's World. This snaps was taken at Jivdhan base forest in 2 Januarey 2011. Shekru is Marathi name of Indian Giant Squirrel - Rafuca Indica Elphinstoni. The image is not very sharp as the animal was on move.
